Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on capital projects and infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to deliver infrastructure development projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, procurement, and operations, to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on capital projects and infrastructure development.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of project management best practices, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of modern project management best practices.
  • Knowledge of Canadian or Nunavut laws, codes, building guides, and public sector project management and contracting policies and procedures.
