Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to provide essential care in a nursing home environment. This permanent position offers a structured work schedule of 35 hours per week and requires a secondary school graduation certificate along with 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced setting, primarily focused on assisting elderly residents with their daily needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Support patients during meal times by serving food and assisting with feeding.
  • Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patients' living spaces.
  • Administer basic first aid and assist in emergency situations.
  • Collect specimens and prepare patients for medical procedures.
  • Supervise and encourage patients in their exercise routines.
