Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes, enabling them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Previous experience working with seniors or children is an asset.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and flexible scheduling.
