Baker - Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Maintenance and Safety: Operate machinery and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: We participate in a government or community program that supports persons with disabilities and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees and offer mentorship programs, diversity and cross-cultural training, and support with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youth: We participate in a government or community program that supports youth employment and offer on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: We participate in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people and offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, cultural competency training, and access to Elders.
- Support for Visible Minorities: We participate in a government or community program that supports members of visible minorities and offer mentorship programs, diversity and cross-cultural training, and hiring policies that discourage discrimination.
