Job Summary

The Baker is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and providing exceptional customer service. As a Baker, you will be expected to follow standard recipes, communicate effectively with management and colleagues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet and savory items
  • Follow recipes and product directions to ensure consistency and quality
  • Communicate with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and address any issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a high-volume bakery or restaurant
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, bend, twist, and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
