The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting sales team members assigned to contractual clients. This position aims to alleviate non-sales tasks from our sales partners, allowing them to focus on strategic selling activities, ultimately driving sales growth. The Sales Operations Coordinator is tasked with cultivating meaningful business relationships across all leadership levels and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to enhance both customer and seller experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists 2-5 sales representatives; acts as a strategic partner in managing approximately $150M in sales.
  • Provides support to sales representatives for large contract clients (including National Accounts, Healthcare, GPOs, Channel Business, Government, AGI, Multi-Family Housing) regarding CSP pricing, reporting, quotes, sourcing, and other intricate organizational tasks to facilitate contract implementation and execution.
  • Employs critical thinking to actively investigate unique and complex customer needs while devising effective solutions to execute tasks.
  • Serves as a liaison among cross-functional departments such as Quotes, Cross Referencing, Customer Life-Cycle Project Management, Contract Enablement, Contract Administration, Sourcing, Customer Service, Financial Services, eCommerce, Technical Product Support, and other supporting departments.
  • Assists in generating and maintaining monthly, contractual, customer-facing reports.
  • Creates Track Codes and manages proper alignment for account, sub, and track levels.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses the technological skills to efficiently navigate Grainger systems and software packages to support clients (SAP/SOE, MS Office (Excel at an intermediate level, Access), MS Outlook, SalesForce, Keepstock Dashboard, etc.).
  • Demonstrates agility while working in a fast-paced environment and leads with a Continuous Improvement mindset regarding process and technology opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making, solution-oriented, and troubleshooting capabilities.
