Senior Project Manager

Stonerise Construction is a forward-thinking developer and builder with a proven track record of success and a promising future ahead. Our current projects in Southwestern Ontario include residential high-rise, midrise, and mixed-use developments.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Project Manager to oversee the administrative and technical management of assigned construction projects. This role involves expediting activities related to procurement, contract administration, change orders, submittals, schedule, safety, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the construction process, including defining project scope and identifying critical path, defining key milestones, and leading the timing of each construction stage.
  • Prioritize, plan, and coordinate potential risks and technical challenges.
  • Determine resources required to ensure all aspects of the project are managed appropriately.
  • Lead design and coordination meetings, liaise with partners, consultants, construction management team, building trades, building department, and municipal staff.
  • Responsible for financial monitoring of the project, including forecasting, keeping the team informed of schedule progress, design changes, and potential construction overruns.
  • Coordinate all aspects of development and permit applications, drawings, and documents prior to permit submission.
  • Manage consultant working drawing groups and meetings, conduct project reviews, and create/generate reporting as required.
Requirements:
  • Project Management training/related college diploma.
  • Previous 3-5 years of Ontario experience in a project management role with project values over $2MM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam software.
  • Highly organized and ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
