About Our Client

We are a leading developer of premium high-rise residential, commercial, and retail properties in London. We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to lead our mixed-use and high-rise projects.

Job Description

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of large-scale projects from design through completion. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Directing and mentoring Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Leading critical decisions regarding design elements and subcontractor choices to ensure project objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Engaging in problem-solving throughout all phases of the project, from initial planning through to final completion.
  • Overseeing interactions with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to coordinate design decisions and address any design-related issues that may arise.
  • Monitoring and enforcing adherence to safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements across all project sites.
  • Keeping track of project budgets and timelines to identify and address potential risks.
  • Providing regular updates on project progress and any issues to senior management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager, ideally with experience in mixed-use, high-rise, or complex ICI new builds.
  • Relevant educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience overseeing the full cycle of large-scale projects from design through completion.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with demonstrated experience managing project teams both in the office and on-site.
