Senior Project Manager

Our client is a renowned high-rise developer with a rich history of successfully delivering high-rise residential projects throughout the Greater London Area.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Manage the administration and technical aspects of mid-to-high-rise residential condo projects, ensuring adherence to company and project standards, procedures, and policies.
- Lead the creation of construction management plans and traffic management plans.
- Oversee projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion and meeting internal deadlines.
- Ensure consultant's drawings for site plan approval, permits, tender, and issued for construction are processed efficiently.
- During design management, prepare estimates and value engineering analysis, peer reviews, and constructability reviews.
- Assist in design development, ensuring constructability, schedule, and budgets are considered in decision-making.
- Maintain comprehensive budgets, monitoring and managing costs on actuals versus budget.
- Lead negotiation of contract awards with support from the Director and Senior Vice President.
- Create schedules for the Design Studio to follow, ensuring charts meet site needs.
- Review and provide analysis of drawings and specifications, ensuring communication to the project team, including site staff and trades.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, focusing on high-rise condo development.
- Strong understanding of the project life cycle from design to completion.
- Full cycle completion of high-rise condo projects.
- Post-secondary diploma in a construction-related discipline.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of different construction methods, sequencing, potential problems, and timelines.
- Familiarity with project management and estimating software programs.
- Knowledge of relevant construction law and building code.
