Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan focused on sales growth.
- Execute commercial initiatives aligned with the annual business strategy.
- Manage a robust opportunity pipeline to meet sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business prospects.
- Collaborate with sales representatives for effective account management.
- Serve as a technical consultant to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Provide ongoing technical support post-sale to enhance customer confidence.
- Conduct engaging technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Participate in supplier training sessions in Canada and the US to maintain expertise in specialized products and applications. Regular travel to the US for training is a requirement for this role.
- Lead product launches, seminars, and promotional activities.
- Implement competitive strategies to enhance market presence using available marketing resources.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology from a recognized institution.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in automation or technical sales/support.
- Understand sales methodologies such as Strategic Selling and Customer-Centric Selling.
- Exhibit strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of electrical circuits, with a preference for industrial automation experience.
- Have familiarity with Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMIs, and software applications.
- Be capable of interpreting single-line electrical schematics accurately.
- Understand industrial networking and Ethernet I/P.
- A valid driver's license and passport are required for this position.
