Human Resource Manager

DeckMart, a leading specialty store for outdoor building materials, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our employees are equipped to drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Manage employee benefits programs and coordinate with external providers.
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve work-related issues.
- Support organizational development and change management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR management experience.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Expertise in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates. Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Employee Relations: Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills. Ability to handle employee grievances and foster a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Proficiency in designing and managing performance evaluation systems. Experience in coaching and developing employees to meet performance goals.
- HR Policies and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations. Ability to develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Organizational Development: Experience in managing change and driving organizational growth. Skills in developing and implementing training and development programs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Benefits Administration: Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health benefits and RSP matching plans. Ability to manage relationships with external benefits providers.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to align HR initiatives with the company's strategic goals. Experience in workforce planning and succession planning.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Capability to address and resolve complex HR issues.
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills to manage and develop the HR team. Ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve their best.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software and systems. Ability to leverage technology to streamline HR processes.
