Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Opportunity

Bausch & Lomb is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with assigned customer accounts to promote and sell our pharmaceutical products within a designated geographic territory.
  • Focus on achieving territory sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and resolving issues in key markets.
  • May be assigned special markets or complex product lines that require strong client relationship skills.
  • Organize and prioritize work activities with guidance from the Regional Sales Manager and Marketing department.
Major Areas of Focus
  • Selling Skills/Message Mastery
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of product key messages and consistently deliver them to customers.
    • Engage customers in needs-based selling discussions to drive product adoption.
    • Utilize customer needs to inform sales strategies.
    • Adapt sales approaches based on the customer environment.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset
    • Manage territory like a business, formulating short and long-term customer plans to achieve sales objectives.
    • Take ownership of results and accountability for territory performance.
  • Strategic Agility/Business Acumen
    • Assess territory to identify business opportunities and develop effective business plans.
    • Analyze data sources to drive sales and inform business decisions.
  • Customer Focus
    • Meet customer expectations and requirements.
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sciences.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills/Competencies:
    • Motivated self-starter with exceptional communication skills.
    • Flexible and agile to adapt quickly to changing situations.
    • Thrives on challenges and acts on business opportunities.
    • Strong computer literacy and organizational skills.
