Your Responsibilities:

As the Quality Assurance & Control Manager, you will ensure that our products comply with all safety regulations, legal standards, and certification requirements, enabling us to deliver superior packaging solutions.

You will report directly to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for the implementation, revision, and management of all quality-related processes in alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and quality assurance/control protocols. You will lead a quality team across our manufacturing sites, oversee daily quality operations, investigate and rectify non-conformities, and address customer feedback. Additionally, you will create and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, standards, and policies, while conducting regular evaluations of materials and products. Your focus will be on continuous improvement and minimizing waste.

Key Duties Include:

  • Ensuring that our canisters meet or surpass established quality benchmarks, both internally and externally.
  • Supervising quality inspections, including measuring raw materials and finished products.
  • Monitoring processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to specifications.
  • Organizing and maintaining accurate logs and records.
  • Drafting and overseeing the implementation of all quality guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviewing test reports from production and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Developing and conducting quality training and orientation programs for staff.
  • Continuously enhancing our operational processes.
  • Collecting data to generate reports, charts, and presentations.
  • Occasionally traveling to our facilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity within the quality sector, ideally in a production environment related to packaging, food processing, or manufacturing of metal or plastic components.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with additional qualifications in quality control being advantageous. Familiarity with ISO 9000, Lean Six Sigma, AIB, and/or SQF is a plus.
