Job Title: SAN Storage Administrator/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAN Storage Administrator/Engineer to join our team at SPECTRAFORCE. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement storage solutions using PMAX, Pure Storage, and Isilon technologies
  • Configure and manage SAN switches, including Brocade and IBM equipment
  • Monitor and troubleshoot storage-related issues, including performance and availability
  • Develop and implement scripts using Python or Perl to automate storage tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other infrastructure components
  • Provide expert-level support for storage-related issues, including hardware failures and performance troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain documentation for storage infrastructure and procedures
Requirements:
  • Strong background in SAN administration, including PMAX, Storage Provisioning process, Zonning, Solution Enabler, SRDF, Clones, Unisphere, Performance Manager, PowerPath, FAST, Thin Provisioning, RAID, and SAN troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge of Pure Storage administration and Brocade SAN switches
  • Scripting knowledge in Python or Perl is desired
  • Expertise with PMAX provisioning process using Solution Enabler CLI
  • Expertise in SAN migration using SRDF
  • Expertise with PMAX and VMAX3 technology
