Job Title: SAN Storage Administrator/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAN Storage Administrator/Engineer to join our team at SPECTRAFORCE. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our storage infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and data security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement storage solutions using PMAX, AFF/FAS filers, Brocade SAN switches, and Pure Storage.
  • Manage and maintain storage systems, including hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and implement storage policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other IT systems.
  • Provide expert-level support for storage-related issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve complex problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our storage infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in SAN administration, including PMAX, Storage Provisioning process, Zonning, Solution Enabler, SRDF, Clones, Unisphere, Performance Manager, PowerPath, FAST, Thin Provisioning, RAID, and SAN troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Pure Storage administration and hands-on experience with Brocade SAN switches.
  • Scripting knowledge in Python or Perl is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
