Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at William Osler Health System. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental standards to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care, observing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Adhere to hospital mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Provide radiologists with high-quality imaging and accurate preliminary technical impressions, discussing ultrasound findings when necessary.
- Perform other duties related to the job classification as required.
- Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology.
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists in Ontario (CMRITO) required.
- ARDMS (CRGS) certification in abdomen and obstetrics/gynecology, with preference given to those who are also RVT (CRVS) or eligibility for registration with ARDMS (CRGS) within six months of hire.
- Recent experience in related areas of responsibility required.
- Able to perform breast imaging is an asset.
- Experience in general abdominal, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatric, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging is an asset.
- Experience in ultrasound special procedures, such as biopsies, is an asset.
- FMF NT certification is an asset.
- Membership with Sonography Canada is an asset.
- Proven skill in the production of high-quality ultrasound images.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record.
