Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care and ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Quality Control: Perform daily quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and producing accurate images.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that diagnostic imaging services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education: Completion of a recognized diagnostic imaging technology program.
- Registration: Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Experience: Recent experience in a diagnostic imaging department, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary range of $36.84 to $50.24 per hour.
