We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at William Osler Health System. As an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Services: Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental standards to aid in patient diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Patient Care: Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care, observing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Confidentiality: Adhere to hospital mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaboration: Provide radiologists with high-quality imaging, accurate and complete preliminary technical impressions, discussing ultrasound findings with the radiologist when necessary.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties related to the job classification as required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology.
- Registration: Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists in Ontario (CMRITO) required.
- Certification: ARDMS (CRGS) certification in abdomen and obstetrics/gynecology with preference given to those who are also RVT (CRVS) or eligibility for registration with ARDMS (CRGS) within six months of the date of hire.
- Experience: Recent experience in related areas of responsibility required.
- Skills: Proven skill in the production of high-quality ultrasound images, team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Attendance: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record.
Hours: Currently Days/Evenings/Nights, 8-hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements).
Salary: Minimum: $36.84, Maximum: $51.76.
