About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at CAE. In this role, you will work closely with inventory management and logistics to implement and maintain efficient inventory systems. You will be responsible for reviewing and adjusting parameters in Oracle ERP management systems, monitoring key performance indicators, and collaborating with existing teams to ensure compliance with division policies and procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Review and implement new inventory requirements and make necessary adjustments to ensure stock availability.
  • Prioritize inventory implementations to meet project deadlines and ensure smooth production processes.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing and assembly cells, industrial engineering, and logistics to ensure clear communication and follow-up.
  • Evaluate business needs and make adjustments to inventory systems as needed.

Your Qualifications:

  • College diploma or Bachelor of Business Administration degree in operations and production management, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, Material Resource Planning (MRP) software, and in-house software is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and excellent team spirit.
  • Attention to detail, good communication skills, and bilingualism are required.
