Inventory Management Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Advika Clothing. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for handling inventory by receiving, sorting, and organizing it in our warehouse. Your tasks will include packaging and shipping clothing orders, as well as maintaining an updated inventory count. The majority of the job will involve packing and shipping online orders.

Responsibilities

- Print shipping labels and barcodes using Shopify
- Prepare hang tags
- Take inventories and keep inventories organized

Requirements

- Experience with or willingness to learn inventory systems like Shopify and Excel

Work Environment

This role has varied and flexible hours, with a quieter pace most of the year. However, you must be prepared for busy Fall and Spring periods, when you'll handle a higher volume of clothing and orders. Strong organization and a willingness to put in additional hours as needed are essential during these peak times.

Compensation

You'll need to ship orders within 3 days of receipt. While large inventory shipments are planned in advance, online orders can come in unexpectedly and require a quick turnaround. At times, you may only need to handle one order, but the minimum pay is $20 for shipping, which usually takes less than an hour. Occasionally, additional tasks such as inventory counts may be requested, even if you're only shipping one order, to make the trip worthwhile. For work exceeding one hour, the rate is $20 per hour. During peak times, bonuses will also be offered for fulfilling larger orders and demonstrating commitment to timely shipping.
