Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Commercial Sales and Business Development to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our commercial sales team, you will be responsible for leading a team of commercial account executives, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of commercial account executives in several offices, providing guidance and oversight on sales processes and growth initiatives.
  • Represent Accoravillage in the commercial insurance markets, implementing and supporting key initiatives and goals.
  • Collaborate with the commercial servicing team to support client retention and deliver necessary account services.
  • Partner with the marketing team to ensure high-quality submissions to markets.
  • Work closely with industry partners to deliver the best insurance solutions for clients.
  • Engage with clients, prospects, and industry partners to support account executives in delivering exceptional service.
  • Set individual goals, provide consistent performance coaching, and feedback, and identify and develop internal talent for future commercial segment roles.
  • Leverage software and applications to manage and convert leads.
  • Travel as necessary to meet with clients and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management and sales, plus 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • Level 3 General Insurance License.
  • Bonus: One of the CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designations.
