Director of Commercial Sales

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Commercial Sales team in British Columbia. As a Director, Commercial Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and mentoring a team of Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Commercial Account Executives in several BC offices, providing guidance and oversight in sales processes.
- Represent Westland Insurance Group Ltd. to the BC insurance markets, implementing and supporting key initiatives and goals.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Servicing Team to support client retention and deliver necessary account services.
- Partner with the Marketing team to ensure high-quality submissions to markets.
- Engage with clients, prospects, and insurance partners to support Account Executives in delivering exceptional service.
- Set individual goals, provide performance coaching, and feedback, and identify and develop internal talent for future commercial segment roles.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in Commercial Insurance Account Management and Sales experience, plus 3-5 years leadership experience.
- Level 3 General Insurance License.
- Bonus: One of the CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designations.
