About the Role

Xplore Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team in Fredericton, NB. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize your technical expertise to resolve complex technical issues related to internet/network connectivity and email.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a courteous, knowledgeable, and professional manner to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Liaison with Internal Departments: Collaborate with internal departments to investigate and escalate technical issues as necessary.
  • Trouble Ticket Management: Document and prioritize trouble tickets and technical issues on customer accounts.
  • Technical Knowledge: Maintain extensive knowledge of technical troubleshooting for Xplore products and stay current on relative technology advancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of post-secondary education in a related field (or equivalent level of experience).
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for anticipating, recognizing, and resolving technical issues.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in technical and non-technical terms.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and driven with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow guidelines and strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize and multi-task while adapting in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism is an asset (French/English).
