Job Summary

D ALLIANCE MOTORS is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of truck drivers, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching.
  • Monitor and Control the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Train and Develop truck drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, enhancing their ability to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance of company vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and minimizing downtime.
  • Manage Inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure Compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions to management, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong Organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to Work under Pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.

Language

The primary language of communication is English.

Work Hours

The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
