Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at 2668069 Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver performance and safety.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and report on driver performance, including hours of service, fuel efficiency, and safety records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word skills.
  • Experience with diversity and cross-cultural training.
  • Ability to work with Indigenous people and provide cultural competency training.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 37.5 hours per week. The work language is English.
