About the Role

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care, adhering to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and Bruyère policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the organization.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of RPN medication administration course or equivalent.
  • Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate.
  • Successful completion of the mandatory FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification provided by the hospital within the established timeline.
  • Fluent in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rehabilitation Nursing Education/Certification.
  • Experience in rehabilitation.
  • Membership in Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO).
