Position Overview

As ApplyBoard continues to expand its global footprint, we are enhancing our Global Learning & Development team in Canada. This position focuses on the creation, management, and facilitation of educational solutions, ensuring an exceptional learning journey for our employees while spearheading strategic initiatives that strengthen our programs and processes. The selected candidate will report to the Associate Director of Learning and Development and collaborate closely with the Global People & Culture team to design and develop impactful learning solutions that deliver timely and valuable experiences across ApplyBoard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate learning program launches by engaging with internal stakeholders to foster buy-in and enhance adoption rates.
  • Support comprehensive learning design and development on a global scale utilizing various instructional methodologies (e.g., eLearning, microlearning, instructor-led).
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, incorporating feedback into a continuous improvement framework.
  • Foster a positive learning environment for all employees.
  • Utilize your expertise in design and facilitation to assist in the creation and maintenance of educational materials, including presentations and eLearning modules.
  • Analyze survey data and generate reports to inform future enhancements.
  • Employ data-driven insights to make informed recommendations regarding learning needs and solutions.
  • Support a comprehensive learning framework for ApplyBoard employees across all business functions, in collaboration with the People & Culture team.
  • Work with HR Partners and other stakeholders to identify current and future training requirements and priorities.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives in partnership with the Global People & Culture team, positively influencing engagement metrics.
  • Mentor fellow Learning & Development team members as we expand our educational offerings.
  • Enhance efficiencies and productivity within the Learning & Development processes.

  • Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in the learning and development sector, including facilitation and comprehensive development of educational solutions.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies to create cross-functional, global learning solutions.
  • Experience in conducting and analyzing learning needs assessments.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Certification in Adult Learning and/or Leadership Coaching is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, particularly Brightspace LMS, is an asset.
  • Previous experience in Employee Engagement initiatives.
