CIMA+ is seeking a Senior Project Manager with expertise in municipal water and wastewater systems to enhance our water division. This role involves collaboration with our expanding multi-disciplinary Infrastructure team on diverse projects across Ontario, focusing on water treatment, distribution, and storage.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and guide project teams through all stages of project development, from planning and design to construction and commissioning of municipal water and wastewater initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical specialists from various disciplines within our Water group, including structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and civil engineering, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage project resources, timelines, budgets, quality assurance, and risk evaluations to fulfill client requirements effectively.
- Prepare and oversee engineering analyses, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans, contract documents, cost estimates, and construction documentation.
- Lead efforts in securing new projects, including the formulation of technical scope workplans, schedules, project team structures, and budget estimates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients; engage with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, project stakeholders, and contractors.
- Guide and mentor intermediate and junior personnel in project delivery fundamentals and essential project management techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater sectors, particularly with municipal clients in engineering or project management capacities, focusing on the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario.
- Proven expertise in planning and designing water/wastewater treatment projects, including familiarity with unit process design and hydraulics.
- Demonstrated experience in leading project teams on consulting projects of varying scales.
- Successful track record in business development and nurturing client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
