Festival Assistant - Digi60 Film Festival

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Festival Assistant to support the Digi60 Film Festival team in Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the festival team, including responding to inquiries and maintaining volunteer lists.
  • Support event planning and execution, including on-site event support during live events.
  • Assist with festival feedback surveys and communication with festival partners and sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the social media and communications team to promote the festival.
  • Attend team meetings and events to provide input and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Google Business Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Fluency in English, with French a plus.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the Ontario Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) eligibility criteria, including being an unemployed job seeker or employed less than 20 hours per week, and meeting one of the additional eligibility criteria.

Remuneration: $20 per week, provided by the Province of Ontario.
