Position Overview:
This is a twelve (12) month term role.
Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting and Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing tax-related activities within the organization. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and related documentation.
- Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary financial data.
- Providing guidance on tax implications of business decisions.
- Staying updated on changes in tax legislation and advising management accordingly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax compliance and accounting principles, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams.
