We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Planning and Compliance Specialist to join our team at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Canadian tax planning and compliance, with experience in managing tax planning, tax compliance, and tax strategy for corporate entities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing tax strategies in Canada and the US to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities
  • Providing strategic tax advice on acquisitions, dispositions, and other business transactions
  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing impact on the corporation
  • Managing the preparation, submission, and review of all required tax filings

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and CPA designation, with 5+ years' experience in Canadian tax planning and compliance. In-depth knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations is essential, with experience with cross-border US tax planning and compliance preferred.
