Job Title: Marketing & Communications Specialist

Job Summary:

The Marketing & Communications Specialist will play a key role in promoting the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation's brand and mission through strategic communications and marketing initiatives. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communications plans, creating engaging content, and building relationships with stakeholders to support the Foundation's fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications and marketing strategies to promote the Foundation's brand and mission.
  • Create engaging content for various channels, including social media, email, and print materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including hospital administration, donors, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communications and marketing efforts, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain the Foundation's website and social media presence.
  • Provide support for the development of marketing and communications materials, including brochures, posters, and other promotional materials.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in communications and marketing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
