About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Assistant at Dennis Construction Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work and repair equipment as needed.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Data Entry: Enter data according to specified format and transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, dusty, and hot work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse and construction industry.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel and internet.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform manual dexterity tasks.
