About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Controller of Facilities Services in our Catholic Education Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate planning and arranging in-services and meetings
  • Follow up on delegated tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Review reports and correspondence for accuracy and completeness
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical and interpretive information
  • Process forms and documents for approval and submission
  • Provide administrative support for the Controller of Facilities Services, including typing correspondence, reports, and minutes
  • Assist with coordination of events and programs, including the Eco-Schools Program
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of additional related post-secondary courses, including computer training
  • Minimum three to five years' experience in a secretarial or related position, with one year in a school board environment
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Thorough computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft 365
  • Customer service orientation
  • Experience in a facilities or construction environment is an asset

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
