Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our retail business, overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 employees, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
- Determine Merchandise and Services: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to determine the most profitable products and services to offer.
- Staffing Requirements: Determine the optimal staffing levels to meet customer demand and maintain a high level of service.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Office and Volunteer Staff Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties.
- Daily Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail business or related field.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system, electronic mail, and MS Outlook.
- Transportation: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical skills, collaborative attitude, creativity, efficiency, goal-oriented, hardworking, integrity, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, team player, and ability to multitask.
