Pizza Fiamma Operations Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to join our team at Pizza Fiamma. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for food and other supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless execution.
Support for Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Disability Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Newcomer and Refugee Support: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Youth Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Veteran Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for veterans.
  • Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mature Worker Support: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Visible Minority Support: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.

Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, secondary school graduation certificate, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Hours: 30-40 hours per week
