Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Hotel Night Auditor at Kenora Travelodge. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's night audit process.
Key Responsibilities- Registering Guests: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Resolving Complaints: Resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Processing Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences.
- Managing Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
- Providing Information: Provide general information about points of interest in the area to our guests.
- Processing Departures: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Guest Assistance: Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Wake-Up Calls: Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Dependability: Show reliability and dependability in performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced hotel environment.

- Availability: Are you available to start on the advertised start date?

- Work Term: This is a permanent position.
