Position Overview

AOS Ltd is seeking a dedicated Optometric Assistant to provide essential support in our eye care practice. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth operation within our clinic and delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with optometrists and other health care providers to enhance patient care.
  • Operate Equipment: Utilize ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments with precision.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all medical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supply Management: Prepare and manage the inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Claims Processing: Handle health insurance and workers' compensation claims efficiently.
  • Appointment Coordination: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring a well-organized calendar.
  • Patient Interaction: Gather and document patients' medical and ophthalmic histories.
  • Office Management: Oversee routine office functions, including reception duties and telephone inquiries.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and equipment.
