About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Allevia Physiotherapy Ltd. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment programs under the guidance of our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help patients recover from various injuries or disabilities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Accurately document patient progress and rehabilitation milestones.
  • Coordinate appointments and schedules to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collect patients' medical and ophthalmic histories to inform treatment plans.
Requirements
  • College or CEGEP education in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
