Position Overview

The role of a Physiotherapy Attendant involves providing essential support to physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients facing various injuries or disabilities.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College or CEGEP program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans as directed by physiotherapy professionals.
  • Maintain and prepare necessary equipment and supplies for therapy sessions.
  • Document and track the rehabilitation progress of patients.
  • Gather comprehensive medical and ophthalmic histories from patients.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with MS Outlook.
  • Experience with MS Windows and MS Word.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Capable of engaging in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical activities may include walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
