About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Tamarack Physiotherapy and Massage Ltd. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the guidance of our physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collect and record patients' medical and ophthalmic history.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending and lifting.
