Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at IR Canada Sales and Service. This is a permanent position with a focus on optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, or services
  • Evaluate establishment needs to formulate specifications for purchases
  • Negotiate supplier offers and consult with vendors
  • Review and assess quotations
  • Establish contract terms and conditions
  • Award contracts to suitable suppliers
  • Set and monitor delivery schedules
  • Address issues with clients and suppliers as they arise
Skills and Competencies
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
  • Attention to Detail: Must possess a keen eye for detail and meet tight deadlines
