Experience: 5 years or more of experience in supply chain management
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for procurement and supply chain operations
- Manage and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies
- Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
- Plan and control budget and expenditures for procurement and supply chain activities
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective supply chain management
- Review purchase order claims and contracts to ensure compliance with company policy
- Recruit, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve supply chain goals
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
- Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services
- Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
- Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
- Review and process claims against suppliers to ensure fair and timely resolution
- Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform supply chain decisions
- Oversee the preparation of reports to track supply chain performance
- Advise senior management on supply chain strategies and initiatives
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations
- Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to achieve supply chain goals
