Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Growth Strategist to join our team in Vancouver. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our sales strategies and driving sustainable growth across all branch locations.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the achievement of consistent and scalable sales growth within each branch segment, collaborating closely with the General Manager to establish clear performance benchmarks.
  • Implement and refine our comprehensive sales program for CDS, encompassing best practices in sales processes, structures, and team development.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Branch leadership to align sales growth initiatives with overall organizational strategies, forecasting, and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to new Outside Salespeople, contributing to their onboarding and professional development under the General Manager's direction.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among all sales team members, ensuring a unified approach towards achieving branch-wide goals.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key customers across all branch segments, driving sales performance and exceeding budget targets, margin objectives, and annual goals.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales/Business Development to identify promising customer prospects and explore new business opportunities for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales/BD to seamlessly transition key regional relationships from their portfolio to your management.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of market dynamics, supply and demand trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes to optimize sales volume, product mix, and pricing strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements through continuous learning initiatives, including workshops, publications, professional networks, and industry groups.
  • Contribute actively to team success by supporting colleagues and achieving shared objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with company policies and strategies to ensure the achievement of both branch and personal targets.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven success in professional sales or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic professional selling with a track record of achieving tangible results.
  • Experience managing sales across multiple market segments.
  • In-depth understanding and application of professional strategic sales processes.
  • Prior experience within both corporate C-Level and private sector industries is highly valued.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Continuous professional development through courses, workshops, and certifications in sales management, team leadership, and quality assurance is highly desirable.
  • Completion of professional sales training programs or equivalent experience is beneficial.
