Position Overview:

This role is a permanent opportunity that requires proficiency in both English and French, reflecting the bilingual nature of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic counsel to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and the divisional leadership team, including offering insights, acting as a representative when necessary, and facilitating executive communications.
  2. Assist in the formulation and implementation of the division's annual strategy, performing research and analysis to guide strategic choices.
  3. Deliver strategic insights to address business challenges and convert priorities into actionable divisional projects.
  4. Oversee the operations of the EVP's office.

Qualifications:

  1. A demonstrated ability to foster and sustain relationships effectively.
  2. Strong communication skills paired with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  3. A proactive leader with exceptional time management abilities.
  4. A strategic mindset capable of navigating complex scenarios on behalf of the EVP.

Essential Requirements:

  1. In-depth understanding of Farm Credit Canada's business strategy, corporate goals, divisional roles, and operational processes.
  2. Business insight, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to forge partnerships with leadership.
  3. A Bachelor's degree in business administration along with seven or more years of progressive experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience addressing enterprise-level business issues.
  4. Cross-functional experience within the organization is advantageous.
