Superintendent, Mine Operations

Woodfibre Management Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Mine Superintendent to lead our mine operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to mine operations, ensuring efficient and safe production.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of mine personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, including metrics on production, safety, and costs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mining engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mine operations, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
