We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Operations Manager to join our team at Woodfibre Management Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of our mining and petroleum operations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and optimize daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation
- Collaborate with senior management to advise on operational strategies and recommend changes to improve performance
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols, and identify areas for improvement
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including staff, contractors, and suppliers
- 5+ years of experience in mining and petroleum operations, with a strong background in management and leadership
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
