We are seeking a highly experienced Mine Operations Manager to join our team at Woodfibre Management Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our mine and ensuring that production quotas and procedures are met.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve operational goals
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources
- Advise senior management on operational matters and recommend changes to improve performance
- Determine the adequacy of personnel, equipment, and technologies used for operations
- Establish work schedules and ensure adherence to safety regulations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5 years or more of experience in mining and petroleum operations
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Dental and health care plans
- Permanent work term with 40 hours per week
- English language support
