We are seeking a highly experienced Mine Operations Manager to join our team at Woodfibre Management Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our mining operations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize production.
- Leadership and Management: Hire, train, direct, and motivate a team of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Operational Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to meet production quotas and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Advisory Role: Provide advice to senior management on operational matters, including recommendations for changes to procedures and processes.
- Personnel and Equipment Management: Determine the adequacy of personnel, equipment, and technologies used for operations, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Scheduling and Compliance: Establish work schedules and ensure adherence to safety regulations, including regular audits and inspections.
- Oil and Gas Drilling: We require experience in oil and gas drilling, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
- Valid Driver's Licence: A valid driver's licence is required, as you will be required to travel regularly to our mining sites.
- Willingness to Travel: You must be willing to travel regularly, as this role requires frequent site visits.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working with a team of staff and interacting with senior management.
- Eligibility to Work in Canada: You must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Previous Experience: You must have previous experience in this field of employment.
- Level of Study: You must have completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.
