Real Estate Law Clerk Opportunity

Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Law Clerk to join its team. As a key member of our law firm, you will have the opportunity to work with industry leaders in commercial and residential real estate law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with commercial and residential purchase, sale, and financing transactions, including drafting documentation and corresponding with clients and other lawyer's offices.
  • Perform sub-searches of title and off-title searches, and assist with registration of plans of subdivision and other land development matters.
  • Prepare various documents in Teraview, including transfers, charges, easements, notices, discharges, and reporting letters and accounts to clients.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, and draft and amend all correspondence.
  • Prepare closing documentation for commercial and residential purchase, sale, and financing transactions, including preparing necessary corporate documentation.
  • Assist with commercial leasing transactions and prepare and organize closing of subdivision lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer.
Requirements:
  • A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position in a commercial or residential real estate law practice.
  • Proficiency with PC Law, Microsoft Office Suite, Teraview, and Conveyancer.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files, with minimal supervision.
